Profile: Wheelie is the "wild boy" of Quintesson- an Autobot-like youth lost when his ship went down, the only survivor of his party, staying alive by cunning and stealth and fearlessness. He speaks in odd, rhyming sentences and despises the Sharkticons and Quintessons, who are his mortal enemies. He is a staunch friend to the Dinobots, who take to him immediately, and a reliable ally in difficulties for Hot Rod and Kup when they take on the Sharkticons.

Abilities: He fights only when he's under attack and has to defend himself. He uses a three-bladed knife and a sling which hurls fire stones when he must attack his enemies or defend himself.

Wheelie is a small orange Autobot who turns into an equally small car. Wheelie is possessed of the habit (or compulsion) of always speaking in rhyme in a high-pitched voice.

Cartoon Bio (US):

Wheelie was first encountered in 2005 on the planet Quintessa, where he served as a guide for the Dinobots, leading them to the Quintessons. After rescuing Kup and Hot Rod, the Dinobots brought Wheelie back with them to rejoin the Autobot group on Junkion.

One unexplained detail in this encounter is that when Wheelie is first introduced, he already has the Autobot symbol on his chest. The author suggested that Wheelie was actually exiled from the Autobot group several years prior to this encounter; however, the Autobots responsible for this action had been killed during the recent assault on Autobot City. [Ed: Another somewhat less convoluted theory is that Wheelie was an Autobot who crash-landed on the planet and survived.]
