Transtector

A combination of the words "Transformer" and "protector", a transtector is the robotic body inhabited and controlled by Godmasters and Headmasters. Until the end of the Super-God Masterforce series, the transtectors were unliving shells, controlled completely by the human host. However, once they were given life (method unknown at this point), they were able to go on without their former hosts.

"Transtector" is also sometimes used to refer to the bodies of the non-Japanese Powermasters and Headmasters, for lack of an equivalent American term.
