Scorponok II (Beast Wars)
Scorponok is a Predacon who can transform into a scorpion. In robot form, he could fire missiles from his claws. He also has a cyberbee that can independantly move and attack. He has used cyberbees to survey areas, explode, and change the thinking patterns of Optimus Primal. Scorponok is considered by some as the second in command of the Predacons. Scorponok is no way related the Decepticon with the same name.
In Scoponok's first appearance, Dinobot was furious at Megatron's apparent mistakes, and wanted to fight him for leadership of the Predacons. Megatron, however, merely moved to the side, revealing Scorponok, ready to fire. Indeed, before Dinobot could react, a missile hit his chest, flinging his body far away. The repercussions of this, of course, was that Dinobot would eventually join the Maximals, evening the odds.
Scorponok later managed to attach a specially-modified cyberbee to Optimus Primal, which unintentionally making him go savage.
He was also responsible for detonating a stash of energon during one fight, making Rhinox, Cheetor, Dinobot and Rattrap go temporarily blind.
He was apparently killed when the destruction of the alien Planetbuster created a quantum surge that badly shook the Predacon ship. Scorponok and Terrorsaur were thrown into the lava pit at the bottom of the Predacon base, and never emerged.
