Bludgeon

Following Scorponok's demise, Bludgeon took over as Decepticon commander. Although an excellent fighter (skilled in the martial art of Metallikato) , able to transform from robot to tank, and in possession of a Pretender shell resembling a skeleton in samurai armor, he was deactivated with relative ease by Megatron. His present status is unknown.

Comic Bio (US):

When Grimlock, Bumblebee, and Jazz appeared on Cybertron and began helping Emirate Xaaron's troops regain lost ground, the Decepticon warlord Thunderwing ordered his Mayhem Attack Squad to terminate them. The squad consisted of the Pretenders Bludgeon, Stranglehold, and Octopunch. They managed to get inside the Autobase (Iacon?) just as the three Autobots, along with the Micromaster Rescue Squad, teleported out en route to Earth. Bludgeon tried to destroy the machinery in hopes of killing the Autobots in transport, but suceeded only in interrupting the journey, and in teleporting his squad to approximately the same location.

The location, it turned out, was the center of Cybertron, where they discovered Primus sleeping. Either because of ignorance, or lack of belief, the Decepticons attacked the Autobots despite the warning that waking Primus could be disastrous to the Transformer race. Bludgeon did well in the fight, but was ultimately beaten by Bumblebee and Seawatch. The battle did indeed wake Primus, who screamed when a shot meant for Grimlock bounced off his armor and hit Primus. As a result, Unicron was able to locate his age-old enemy and immediately moved to intercept Cybertron.

Bludgeon ended up under Scorponok's command on Earth. There, he acted as a personal consort to Scorponok, and also as a bodyguard. He participated in the Shockwave/Scorponok Decepticon Civil War. Along with the other Transformers on Earth, he was teleported to Cybertron by Primus to prepare for the Unicron War. There, he helped to save the lives of Optimus Prime and Scorponok from a group of Transformers who had been possessed by Unicron.

Not only did Bludgeon survive the Unicron War, he emerged from it as the clear and apparently undisputed leader of the Decepticons. Although he pretended to cooperate with the Autobots, he quite clearly had no intention of going along with the Autobot plan to peacefully colonize an uninhabited world (at this point, they believed that Cybertron was self-destructing). As a result, he not only flew off-planet with his Decepticons, he also sabotaged the Autobot ships so they could not do the same. He then randomly picked the planet Klo for conquest.

Meanwhile, the Autobots managed to make pursuit in other ships, and followed them using tracking devices. However, the Decepticons managed to find the tracers on a random bug sweep, and prepared an ambush. It nearly succeeded, but when the Last Autobot showed up and began resurrecting all the dead Autobots, Bludgeon knew he could not win. He swore to Optimus that the Decepticons would leave and never return.

Not surprisingly, Bludgeon turned up years later, this time with the monstrous moon-sized Warworld at his command. In an attempt to sieze the Creation Matrix from Optimus Prime, Bludgeon began a series of bloody random attacks on Earth, aimed at luring Optimus into a trap.

Before Optimus could respond to this, Megatron and Starscream appeared; apparently, they had been on Earth since the Ark crashed in Canada several years ago. Megatron challenged Bludgeon for leadership, and Bludgeon responded by attacking him while he was shooting down Dreadwing. Megatron promptly ripped the head of his Pretender shell from the body, but Bludgeon quickly emerged from the shell and attacked as a tank. Megatron immediately proceeded to transform into his new tank mode and destroyed Bludgeon with a single shot from his rail gun.

Bludgeon's Pretender head now serves as decoration for the interior of the Warworld. It is unknown what was done with the rest of his body.
